Nature Play with Kay offers classes for children ages 18 months through 12 years.
All classes are held at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center in North Andover, MA.

Communication is more than just talking to each other. It's the whole symphony of skills kids activate in order to receive communication from others, process that communication, and express back out their ideas. To make it extra joyful, we'll frame our Summer lessons around a fun Camp Tinkergarten theme.
Tinkergarten classes guide our younger explorers and their caregivers through songs, movement, exploration, and purposeful play, while kids strengthen their communication skills in the most stimulating and soothing classroom of all—the great outdoors. Designed for children aged 18 months to 6 years, together with their caregivers.
Tinkering with Nature: Big Kids Program
Tinkering with Nature is the Big Kid version of Tinkergarten. It's a drop-off program for kids ages 7-12. Each season, we use nature play to work on a different skill critical to our kids' learning and ongoing development. Class sessions incorporate scavenger hunts, code breaking, and teamwork challenges.

Eco-Adventures: God in Nature for Big and Little Kids
Eco-Adventures are faith-based programs, from a non-denominational Christian perspective. With separate classes for Little Kids with their caregivers, and for Big Kids in a drop-off program, each 3-day class uses nature play and exploration to help kids learn about God and Jesus.

Family Adventure Days!
Family Adventure Days are fun for the whole family, including kids (and adults) of all ages! Join us in July for our Animal Olympics and Bubble Explosion programs on Saturdays, and enjoy mornings full of laughter and fun.
Ben's Truck Time Playgroup
Third-grader Ben, aficionado of all vehicles, will read a truck-themed picture book and share a few facts about the truck of the week, then the group will engage in toy truck free play. Geared for ages 2-5 years along with a parent or caregiver, but all truck-loving kids are welcome.

First Child: $10, Family of 2 or more kids: $20
Tinkergarten: Weekly class, 5 weeks
First Child: $150, Each Additional Sibling: $113
New families may attend one week of a Tinkergarten season class as a free trial.

5 weeks: $150 first child/$113 each add'l sibling
4 weeks: $120 first child/$90 each add'l sibling
3 weeks: $90 first child/$68 each add'l sibling
2 weeks: $60 first child/$45 each add'l sibling

Sibling discount price applies to additional children from the same residence enrolled in any Nature Play with Kay program.

Multi-Program Discount
If you are registering the same first child for more than one full 3-day or 5-week program, you may deduct $20 from the cost of the second or third programs. The Multi-Program Discount may be combined between Tinkergarten, Tinkering with Nature, or Eco-Adventure Summer 2025 programs. Additional siblings pay the sibling rate for each program. The Multi-Program Discount only applies to registration for a full program, not to individual day registrations. If you are unsure of your total, you may wait to submit payment until you receive the confirmation email, which will detail the registration fees and discounts applied.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for many of our programs. If financial assistance would make attending a Nature Play with Kay class possible for your family, please complete our scholarship application.
Referral Program
Refer your friends and earn a referral refund up to $20 when they sign up for a class series and list you as their referrer!
Tinkergarten, Tinkering with Nature, and Family Adventure Days are secular programs.
Eco-Adventure programs are faith-based, with a non-denominational Christian perspective.
All Nature Play with Kay programs are open to all who wish to attend.
